I live on an island next to Oakland, CA, called Alameda. In 2014, after six years on the school board, Trish Herrera Spencer challenged the incumbent mayor, campaigning on a platform of a better quality of living and greater involvement of citizens in City Government. I contributed my services to the campaign by designing a logo and graphic identity to complement her grass-roots campaign ethic. I also designed an accompanying website, handouts and flyers, and advertising to get her message out to the public. Her campaign was successful; she unseated the incumbent and served from 2014 to 2018.
