Designing ad units for Funny or Die required a special set of skills. Clients usually required quick turnaround and coordination of the design of their major national ad campaigns to Funny or Die’s specific site needs. Then, the ads needed to be produced in a variety of sizes and formats, including ad banners, overlays, and site skins. The ad units are for a range of products but usually fell into the two main categories of consumer products and movies/TV.
